We’ve been in the business of new business for over 35 years making introductions and cultivating relationships so that our clients hit the ground running with accelerated conversations with decision makers. Predominantly in the business of sport and the associated positive activities.
Mark played 10 years of first class rugby in New Zealand (Otago, Wellington – National Champions , Canterbury and the New Zealand Maoris) and a season with Vale of Lune and finishing competitive rugby with Richmond in the United Kingdom before rugby turned professional. Mark previously had attained national honours in Athletics and Football.
His background is sales, advertising and sponsorship in national press, contract publishing and corporate hospitality working with Xerox, National Sporting Club (Café Royal London) and global major sports events company MBN.
Mark has been involved in the organisation of 200 + events including the British Sports Book Awards and Commonwealth Games Gala Dinners working along sporting personalities including John McEnroe, Sir Bobby Robson, Martin Johnson MBE, Dame Katherine Grainger, Sir Ian Botham, the Australian Cricket team, and former head of BBC Outside Broadcasts Cliff Morgan.
Many charities have been the beneficiaries of the fund raising activities that have been associated with the majority of these events where hundreds of thousands of pounds have been raised.
More recently his work has been focused on the development of aspiring sports people and elite athletes.
MHP has teamed up, with Charles Wilson Travel Consultancy in providing outstanding educational and sporting trips for children /youths to the now very diverse culture that is Germany.
With arrangements in place and to extend their UK learning of the region they have arranged the ideal situation where male/female groups from the UK can develop, nurture, grow, and develop their knowledge of German culture whilst experience the enviable environs and experience specialist football training with elite German Clubs.
Charity Initiative – ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM!
Mark at MHP has continued his interest in helping those with issues that is hindering or in some cases negating any form of productivity that had been gained in any environs in joining up with the Charity, ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM.
This has been launched by Kiwi Brent Pope who with his Irish friends have stepped up lifting the taboo on Men’s Mental Health and the services they seek to provide to get \Men to speak out about these issues that they have wether it is Angst, Alcohol, Partner, Home, Financial or even those that are struggling to cope with retirement from their recent vocation eg Professional Sports people or Services personnel.
Former Rugby Player, Coach , TV Pundit and Personality Brent has now qualified as a Psycho analysis and is active in helping companies and businesses increase productivity by making aware the problems that they may have in their organisation.
This awareness is highlighted and made known to others that they are aware of male mental illness and are getting / if not, have in place services for them to come out sand speak.
